Project Resistor is inspired by makers. Breadboards, LEDs, and resistors are some of the building blocks that allow budding engineers to build exciting projects and develop the skills they need to develop the next generation of devices. We aim to not just build useful tools, but to teach users to build tools of their own, to create on-ramps to Free Software development, and encourage users to participate in building next-gen systems.
What We Build
Most current work falls into three areas:
- Secure Kernel Build Infrastructure - Tools and processes for secure builds of Linux kernels and kernel modules
- Atomic AI Developer Images - System images optimized for AI development workflows
- Work-in-Progress Packages - Experimental packages being prepared for inclusion in the Fedora distribution
